About NCORAD

The National Council on Relationships and Disability, Inc. (NCORAD) is an 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to foster improved education, health, and wellness outcomes by elevating the standards for and the quality of multidisciplinary provider training, research, clinical care, and inclusive service delivery.

At NCORAD, we develop and uphold rigorous standards across various educational levels, professional development, training methodologies, ethical guidelines, and clinical practices, focusing on inclusive disability care. This approach is specifically designed to refine and elevate the quality of care in the realms of relationships, intimacy, and sexual health and wellness for individuals with disabilities.

A significant aspect of our work involves developing comprehensive programs and curricula. These educational tools are tailored to meet the specific needs of professionals working with individuals with disabilities. By creating and disseminating these specialized educational resources, NCORAD ensures that providers and clinicians are equipped with the latest knowledge and best practices in this field.

NCORAD also offers a range of opportunities to advance training and professional development. These include agency in-services, guest lectures, online webinars, and research initiatives, all aimed at supporting multidisciplinary providers and clinicians in disability care. Through these platforms, we foster a collaborative and informed community that is better equipped to serve the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities.

Our commitment at NCORAD is not just to set standards, but to actively contribute to the ongoing education and empowerment of professionals in the field of disability care. We believe that through our dedicated efforts in program and curriculum development, alongside our training and research initiatives, we can make a significant impact on enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
